Snowstorm Prep for Mamas
❄️ TO-DO LIST (Do these before snow is expected to start)
🏠 Home + Safety
Charge all devices (phones, iPads, power banks, baby monitor backup)
Set thermostat a few degrees warmer (pipes + comfort)
if you want to go a little extra, insulate your pipes days before the snow starts
Locate:
Flashlights / lanterns
Batteries
Candles + lighter/matches
Set faucets to slow drip overnight if temps plunge
Bring in / secure outdoor items (strollers, packages, trash bins)
Park cars so plows can get through
Check snow shovel(s) + ice melt are accessible
lay down ice before the snow starts. Ice won’t do much after snow has already frozen.
If you have one: test generator or locate instructions
